Family photographer in Warwickshire

Catching the memories in the moments

Wouldn’t you love to have photos of *those* family moments?

You know the ones I mean…

When you’re dancing around the kitchen with them on a Sunday night. Playing sea monsters on the sofa, or letting them just win as they race you to the door.

Those golden moments when it’s just you, and them.

And your family photographer in Warwickshire, that’s how I want your photos to feel…

Like a beautiful little peek into family life.

So I’ll draw back, and give you space- letting things happen naturally, and shaping our session entirely around you.

I’ll take gentle control, so you can switch off; I’ll bring the fun, the energy, and all the games! We’ll flow between adventure, calm, and a little bit of chaos. And when you look through your photos, they’ll feel like you.

Unforced, unposed, unfiltered. Like *those* moments, bottled.

Outdoor family photography sessions in Warwickshire

“You’re not Adele, you can’t take my photo!” Leonie, age 3 (at a wedding, a few weeks after our photoshoot).

And that’s who I’ll be to your kids. That familiar, funny friend who makes photographs feel fun.

So don’t worry about whether or not they behave…if anything, it’s better if they don’t!

We’ll go somewhere wild, and free- maybe a walk in the woods, or an evening in the fields- somewhere unspoiled and unhurried.

And then I’ll whisk you away on a magical mystery tour!

We’ll goof around, and play tons of games. We’ll go for adventures, we’ll laugh a lot. (I was a primary school teacher for 10 years- I can get a CBeebies smile out of anyone!)

And as parents, you’ll get to just…chill. Relax, and let me take the reins.

I want you to be able to switch off, and just enjoy being parents for a while. To have stories of an adventure, and memories of them.

Giving you photos that capture you beautifully, honestly…happy and connected, just as you are.

In-home photography sessions in Warwickshire

Let’s jump on the bed.

Let’s have pillow fights, and bundle onto the sofa. Let’s play games, and have fun, and do all those things you’re not usually allowed to do.

Because for me, those are the best kind of family photos- where you’re not worried about how you look, or how you should pose. You’re just in the moment with each other.

I’ll lead you through the session with some gentle guidance. Bringing that happy, laid-back energy; suggesting games, and helping us make the most of your beautiful home.

If there’s a beautiful picture window, or an epic kitchen, obviously we need to use it!

But really, your home is just the backdrop. My main focus is you. The way you are together, the easy affection. Cuddlies, games, and running jokes. The things you do without being told.

Giving you natural, joy-filled images of you and your family. Given space to be present, and caught as you are.

I once photographed a little boy whose comfort blanket was his mummy’s hair.

He’d twirl it, and smush it, and bury his face in it. And honestly? It didn’t make for the best photos!

But one day he’ll do it for the last time. And then those photos will mean everything. More than any ‘look this way’ smile, or cookie-cut pose.

And for me, that’s how family photography should be.

Personal, intimate, and true to you. Carefully-crafted to look beautiful on your walls, and filled with memories of this beautiful today.

Adele is kind, patient and so, so skilled. She took the most beautiful bluebell woods photos of us and they are displayed around our home.

Frequently asked questions

Where will my photoshoot take place?

Over the years of photographing families, I’ve explored all over Warwickshire to find my favourite outdoor spots for family photoshoots. I tend to steer clear of busy parks so our session stays focused on you, away from play areas and crowds and instead head for locations that are a little more off the beaten track. Think woods, meadows, seasonal flowers, and crop fields (depending on the time of year).

I work closely with the seasons and keep a careful eye on how my favourite locations are looking. I’ll make a final decision a few days before your session and send you the details via text or email. Most of my locations are around Rugby, Leamington Spa, Warwick and Stratford-Upon-Avon.

When you enquire, we’ll chat about the kind of backdrop you love and I can advise which month and location will suit that best.

How long does a photoshoot last?

Most family sessions last between 60–90 minutes, depending on the age of your children and the time of year. If you’re booking a sunset shoot, we’ll usually meet 1–2 hours before sunset to catch the very best of the golden light.

What about the weather?

You better believe I’ll be your personal weather girl in the week leading up to our session! I keep a close eye on the forecast and refresh those apps constantly. Cloudy, sunny, even dramatic stormy skies can create beautiful galleries.

If it looks like continuous rain, I’ll make a final decision on the morning of your session. We’ll then reschedule for a mutually convenient date and time — with no fee for weather reschedules.

What should I wear?

Outfit choices can completely transform the feel of your final images and elevate your photos. Once you’re booked, I’ll send you a preparation guide packed with tips on styling — from colours and textures to footwear — so you can feel confident on the day.

Can grandparents or extended family come too?

My family photoshoots are designed for one family unit (one set of parents and their children). If you’d like to include grandparents or extended family, just let me know at booking. These sessions naturally last a little longer, include a larger gallery of images, and incur an additional £50 on top of your base session fee (for up to 12 people).

Can we bring our dog?

Absolutely! I adore dogs. Please mention this on your preparation questionnaire so I can make sure the location we choose is dog-friendly.

How do I book?

To secure your family session, a £50 non-refundable deposit is required at booking with the remaining balance due on the day of your shoot. I usually book up 3–4 months in advance, so if you’re thinking about a session, do pop me a message! I’d love to save you a spot.
