My little life.
Hey, I’m Adele.
Mum to two littles, wife to one big.
True-crime addict, happy traveller, reluctant camper, and a family and wedding photographer in Warwickshire.
I live a happy life in Rugby- with my wonderful husband Adam, and our two children, Toby and Ellen.
I’m a simple creature, really.
I love a weekend BBQ- good friends, good wine, the kids laughing away in the background. Music wise, give me a man with a guitar any day. Oh, and I’m absolutely addicted to true crime. Podcasts, books, series…give me a thriller and I’m happy as a clam!
I adore travelling. We spent 3 weeks in Vietnam for our honeymoon, we island-hopped in Croatia. When the kids get older we’re taking them everywhere!
I was a primary school teacher before this, and for 10 years, I lived and breathed it. It’s actually where I met Adam (he observed my lesson one day, and then made me a cardboard rocket the next. The rest is history!)
But then
one day
everything
changed…
It all began in the middle of the night…
Adam was snoring away happily next to me. Toby was curled-up-and-cooing in one arm, and with my other hand, I was doom-scrolling Instagram.
And then something stopped me mid-scroll.
I’d seen newborn photography before, but never anything like this. This was…different.
It was restful, and relaxed; warm with intimacy, closeness, and unfiltered connection.
And I suddenly realised how brief it all was. Those ordinary moments that’ll quietly slip into memory. The taken-for-granted details that’ll grow, and change, and fade.
I looked down at my little Toby- so fleeting, so loved, so determined to grow up. And like a lightbulb in that 2am stillness, I knew what I wanted to do with my life.
This job- this incredible job- is about so much more than just taking photos.
I get to stop time for people.
To give you memories of your family, your celebrations, your lives, your favourite tiny humans. And in my own small way, wrap them up in little pieces of art.
